I like them both. You can also feel free to say "why sariebeth, we are not marketing people. Only YOU are a marketing person. We do not care."
Then I will say "but what about branding?!"

I'm not so anti-marketing! I was already thinking that it feels like we need something for the page header. Maybe something like:
lu⋅di⋅stitch
Pronunciation: [loo-di-stich]
Sometimes laughable, often in stitches.
As for the logos, I'm torn (and picky). For the first one, the neon green on white combination always hurts my eyes and there's an errant bit of purple above the u. I think I might like the second one better without the white circle. Sorry, I said I was picky, but I give you tons of credit for being creative enough to come up with both of them! :)
I'm not anti-marketing, but I also don't see a lot of difference between the two. (Maybe I'm just not a very good test market!) So I don't really have an opinion. Sad, really.
